Locked Split

BetaEmbeddableVerified Dev

Show where a token's creator fees go, with a split the dev cannot quietly change.

The setup is built and simulated against the chain. It has not been run on mainnet with a real creator yet.

How it works

How Locked Split works.

  1. Step 1:

The creator signs in and types the shareholders and their shares, each with a name. Our 5% is added as one of them. On pump.fun the list holds up to 10 wallets in all, ours included, adding up to 100%. On Meteora it holds 2 to 5.

  2. Step 2:

Our server builds the setup transaction, test runs it and the creator signs it. On pump.fun, setting the final list revokes the admin in the same step. On Meteora, the pool's creator role moves to a fee sharing vault.

  3. Step 3:

Payouts follow the coin's own rules. On pump.fun anyone can trigger one payout to every shareholder. On Meteora each wallet claims its own share by signing. The split, the payouts and the rights the creator kept show on the token's Locked Split card, read from the chain.

Try it

The real thing, on a real token.

This is the live Locked Split embedded with one script tag. It works the same on your token.

Shown on Mintlands as an example. It is not a recommendation.

What it costs

5% of the creator fees.

It is written into the split once, as one shareholder, and paid in the token the fees come in: SOL on pump.fun, and the pool's quote token on Meteora.

Our share is written onchain once, as one shareholder. The dev cannot remove it, and we hold no funds in between.

Every fee we charge

Good to know

  • On pump.fun the creator sets the final list once. After that nobody on the team can change it. pump.fun keeps admin powers: its published interface lists a reset instruction for these splits, which the program deployed today refuses, plus a paused status, and pump.fun can upgrade the program through its multisig. The split is permanent against the team, not against pump.fun.
  • On Meteora the pool's creator role moves to the vault and does not come back. The vault has no edit, no close and no admin withdraw. Meteora can still upgrade the program through a multisig.
  • On Meteora the creator fee already waiting on the pool is paid to the creator first, in the same transaction. Only fees that come in after the setup go through the split.
  • Meteora setup works for bonding curve coins that have not graduated yet. For most of them the graduated pool pays fees in both tokens, which this tool cannot collect, so the split covers the fees taken in before graduation. The setup form asks the creator to confirm this. Coins that have already graduated cannot be set up here.
  • There is no option to pay holders. Recipients are wallets the creator names.
  • Creator fees depend on trading. On large graduated pump.fun coins the creator fee can fall to 0.05% of each trade, and a quiet coin pays little.
  • pump.fun also lets a creator set up a split on its own site. Ours adds a public view of the split and of the rights the creator kept.
  • Coins on LaunchLab platforms such as Bonk.fun and StonkFun cannot move the creator right, so they are not supported. Believe and Moonshot coins are not supported yet.

Under the hood

How it is built.

Every program it calls is pinned by address. Check any of them yourself.

The mechanics

  • On pump.fun, the Pump Fees program holds a fee sharing config for the coin: 1 to 10 shareholders whose shares add up to 100%, ours among them. Setting the final list revokes the admin in the same step.
  • On Meteora, Dynamic Fee Sharing holds a vault with 2 to 5 fixed recipients and one token, the pool's quote token. A recipient claims by signing with its own wallet.
  • Our share is a shareholder entry like any other, paid to our treasury. We claim it the same way as any recipient, and we hold no funds in between.
  • The creator's wallet is the only signer of the setup. We never sign for a user.

We never hold your keys or your fees. The coin's own fee sharing account holds them until they are paid out.
